Welcome to a peaceful stay in a genuine mountain environment!

In the middle of Härjedalsfjällen between Funäsdalen, Vemdalen and Ljungdalen is the small village Särvsjö. The picture from nearby Särvsjövålen shows the village in the foreground towards the Jämtland mountains in the background.

Here you can hike, bike and fish, perhaps during a longer retreat. Adjacent to the village is "Henvålen nature reserve", 183 km² to the surface.

We offer accommodation in secluded cottages, 2 to 5 km from Särvsjö. All cottages receive electricity from solar panels and heating through wood burning, which gives a minimal climate footprint.
